The brief was to design a live-work space for a luthier to fit in a 25 ft by 100 ft lot in downtown Albuquerque. The program included a small outdoor performance space, here placed in the middle between a bifurcated form. The private spaces, the two upstairs residential modules, require the occupant to pass across an exterior balcony to travel between them.
