Capilla Peak

A project to design a community resilience center atop a remote mountain peak in New Mexico. Starting with a premise of biomimicry, and using a specific fossilized shell as a natural precedent, the outcome draws from the ideas of intimate connection – a suture – and a shared measure of vulnerability.

Studio 601 with Ane Gonzalez Lara and Alex Webb.
